Introducing

Gaïa Matisse

Gaïa Matisse, an art curator and advisor born near Paris, has a deep love for travel and exploration that is evident in her work. She spent her youth in New York City and currently resides in Mexico City. Art comes naturally to Gaïa, as her parents and grandfather are artists. Her appreciation for fashion began through her great-aunt Jacquelyn, a model for YSL in the 1970s. As a child, Gaïa visited Jacqulyn in Paris, where her passion and knowledge of fashion grew from the beauty of Jacqulyn's clothing and insights. These days, Gaïa also draws inspiration from Sarah Bernhardt, a renowned French stage actress from the 19th and early 20th centuries. As a vintage clothing enthusiast, Gaïa has a remarkable talent for spotting true gems when on the hunt for unique and hard-to-find treasures. She loves to travel the world, gathering much of her fashion inspiration from her experiences. When she is not working with clients, you can find her exploring incredible destinations and scouring vintage stores worldwide, always accompanied by her favorite accessory, her Chihuahua, Bambi.
